Creation of a Portal laser puzzle map. It's meant to be an easy level for a DLC played after beating the game.​

  • Laser Fields and a Fizzler needs to be passed to continue to the next room.

Room 2 - Vertical Puzzle

  • Light guides the player to the exit at the top of the room.

  • The next step is always in the facing direction of the player.

Other development informations

Ameliorations I'd like to make

  • Make the Second room's exit visible from the entrance of the room

  • Let go a bit more of the player's hand

Challenges and solutions

  • It was challenging to get the right level of difficulty for my puzzle. I made many playtests to see how people were approching the puzzles.

  • I had to make it easier multiple times. Each time, it shortened the fast walkthrough to the point I had to create a new room close to the date of delivery. I added the third room and adjusted the fourth one to adapt to it.
